hello terengganu !

Hi all.
Guess what, I am gonna (finally) bid farewell to Putrajaya, and wave hello to Terengganu !
So today (yesterday), the ten of us who are still remaining in Hospital Putrajaya finally got to know our posting results ! It came as a surprise to us as we were already preparing ourselves for the possibility of having to stay on for another whole month. Argh, the horror.
The fact that 7 out of 10 of us got retained in JKWPKL was pleasant news. We all got where we applied for, Alhamdulillah.
There's just one problem, all of us do not know where (which hospital/clinic) exactly in Terengganu/Sabah/Sarawak/KL that we're gonna work in.
I am gonna try to call tomorrow to check.
Oh yeah, according to the person I spoke to just now, we're supposed to report for duty on November 1st. Yes, I know, that's only like a couple of days away.

I am hoping and praying for the best. Ameen.

Had dinner and dessert with The Best Friend just now. :)
I officially have five McDonald's Coke glasses.
Sorry, I have minimal willpower lah. :p

Goodnight.

i need to get out of here already.

I spent the weekend in Puteri Resort, Ayer Keroh, Malacca, attending the 2009 Pharmacy Scientific Conference. 3 days and 2 nights of talks, CPDs and all the PRPs (including me, of course) had to present our research/study in front of almost 150 pharmacists/doctors/pharmacy assistants.
It was such and exhausting event !
There were 13 of us who had to present and compete against each other. Talking in front of such a crowd sure brought me back to when I used to debate. Sigh.
I had shivers of nervousness. I felt like my supervisor had high hopes of me grabbing first place.
But who knew, I actually did ! Hehe. :p

Winning felt good, Alhamdulillah. But the thought of having to bring my research to the national level is scaring the s*** out of me.

Post-conference dinner at Bumbu Bali, Puchong. :D

I would definitely suggest checking out Bumbu Bali Restaurant in Bandar Puteri, Puchong. The food was delicious and reasonably priced and I loved the ambience. Felt as if I was dining in Bali. OK kidding, I've never been to Bali. :p
But I loved the place. :)

Has anyone ever stayed at Puteri Resort ? If no, I would advise against it.
Though the rooms were satisfactory, the food was bad. Really bad lah. From smoke tasting pudding, tough and tasteless lamb to cockroach smelling water. Sobs.
Maybe it was just our luck, but I can say that if I could help it, I will never go back there.
A group of students from UiTM (my juniors) spent the last three weeks at the hospital rotating between the Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM), Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) and (Cytotoxic Drug Reconstitution (CDR) units. Since I am in TDM and the pharmacist in charge was on leave during that period, I had to be in charge of them, guiding them and conducting discussion on cases with them. It was a good experience and it's making me think of making a career change.
We'll see how things go, InshaAllah. :)
I was going through a really stressful day at work last Friday before departing to Malacca but what the students got for me on that day before leaving really really made my day !

 Click, click to enlarge !

Biarlah 'Thank's you' pun. I was so touched, I felt appreciated ! :)

Sejuk hati saya. :)

All of us in Putrajaya are currently still waiting for the results of our posting. Most of my friends were sent to Sabah, Sarawak, Kelantan and Pahang. Some lucky ones were retained where they previously were. I changed my application to Terengganu, since Mr. Sunshine is over there. But I am still in doubt and am preparing for the worst. :(
Mintak dijauhkan, Ameen.
