Ok so Mr Sunshine just left.
I am feeling blue already. :(
To add to my pain, he just told me that he might be away for THREE nights instead of two.
Sobs.
I wish my family and friends weren't as far away as they are now. :'(

i need a break.
Good morning.
I am on leave today.
I'm supposed to drive Mr Sunshine to his office later as he will be leaving to KL for some work, but he managed to persuade his office mates to pick him up here instead.
Hence, I have the whole day off, and I had planned to sleep it off.
But here I am, unable to go back to bed after waking up at 0630 hours just now.
My eyes are tired but my brain just wants to stay active (?).
I just put our clothes to wash. Had some biscuits for breakfast.
Next, I am gonna pack Mr Sunshine's clothes for his work trip.
I will be left alone for two nights (cue sad awwwww, thanks).
It's a good thing I would be working, on this weekend (again) too.
I guess that would distract me a bit from feeling all depressed and lonely.
Anyway, my in-laws (excluding Angah) got on an 8-hour bus ride to come over and visit Mr Sunshine and I last Friday night.
They reached here very very early on Saturday morning and their bus ride back to Batu Pahat was on Sunday night, so we had only two days to entertain them.
Terengganu is getting pretty boring to us by now, well at least to me it is, so we were lacking in ideas on where to bring them.
In the end we brought them to Pasar Payang that day after lunch.
My mother in-law wanted to look for a new telekung, and my father in-law wanted to look for a batik shirt. Both of them managed to get what they wanted, with much bargaining. :p
We wanted to have keropok lekor at Bukit Tok Beng but it was closed already that evening, so we had them at Losong instead.
We had lunch and dinner at home but despite it being my home, my mother in-law cooked and I helped. Hehe.
On Sunday after having Nasi Kerabu for breakfast, we headed to Kenyir Lake.
We took a boat ride around the lake, similar to what we did when my family came over, but this time we paid extra for a one-hour stop at Saok Waterfalls and Taman Herba.
We had a distasteful lunch at one of the stalls by the lake. I need to remind myself never to dine there again.
We dropped by an old friend of my mother in-law's place in Kuala Berang on our way back home.
They were best friends before. It was so cute to watch how excited they were when they laid eyes on each other !
The rest of us just sat and listen, and stuffed ourselves with cakes and curry puffs, as they reminisce about the good times they shared. :D
Before we knew it, it was already time for us to leave for Kuala Terengganu, as Mr Sunshine had made steamboat dinner reservations at a restaurant in town. We made a stop at Pandak Beach, just to enjoy sunset. :)
The steamboat was very deliciously satisfying. The tomyam soup was super kaw !
Thank you sayang. ;)
And that was it, we drove to the bus stand and sent the in-laws off.
They must have been so exhausted, both my mother and father in-law had to go to work that Monday morning right after arriving. *gasps*
My back is hurting.
I'm gonna go lie down now. Bye !

brasil all the way !
My in-laws are on their way here by bus. They're expected to arrive around 5 a.m. later which means we'd have to leave the house at 4 a.m. to pick them up.
I guess I should be sleeping now.
I seriously think if I watch any more football matches, I'd end up having a cardiac arrest.
I get sooo emotional !
But YAY for Brazil !
Pretty boring match against Portugal.
I suppose it's because they've already secured their place in the Group of 16 after two awesome wins.
Oh yes, I should be sleeping now.
Goodnight.

debit and credit.
Hi.
How did your Thursday go ?
Mine was going pretty well until I received some not so happy news from the brother.
I won't be disclosing what it is about here though.
Suffice to say that it's not something you can just get over in a matter of days. :(
Sigh.
Then I got to know Mr Sunshine has been vomiting since this afternoon.
Everything he ingests just comes right back out. :(
He's ok now Alhamdulillah.
Then my peep toe pumps Mr Sunshine bought for me as my wedding hantaran tore.
I've had my shoes die on me so many times before this, but this one is kinda sentimental lah. :(
Brings me back to the time when I lost my beautiful Vincci sandals Mummy bought for me when I was in UiTM.
I wanted to pay for my groceries using my credit card just now, but the cashier told me it was declined.
Then I remembered that the same thing happened two weeks ago at the airport.
I definitely have not maxed out my card, and I have been paying religiously every month, so the bank told me I will be receiving a replacement card within 7 to 10 days.
Hmm.
But then..
“Allah does not burden a soul more than it can bear.”
Surah Al-Baqarah 2: 286
So, Alhamdulillah.
InshaAllah everything will be okay. :)
Things were definitely okay when Noor and I were at McDonald's just now. Hehe.
Thanks dear, next time I belanja you ok. :)
My in-laws will be coming over this weekend. That's good news too. :)
Well, except for the part where there's MAJOR cleaning up/washing etc etc to do !
Wish us luck !

mr sunshine lost his phone.
For about half an hour.
He sent me a text message around 1630 hours using his office's mobile phone conveying the bad news. He realized that his phone was missing upon coming back from an inspection this evening.
I was sad and worried. Call me a bimbo, but the thing I was worried the most was about the photos in his phone getting into the wrong hands.
I sent him a doa which his mother gave to me to recite while I was looking for my Celcom broadband modem a couple of months ago.
It was such a relief to find out he found his phone by the road where he and his colleague parked during the inspection. It was on the grass all wet due to the heavy rain.

So, Alhamdulillah, his phone (and all the photos and information in it) is safe. :D

accidents happen.
It finally poured and I am feeling calmer than I was yesterday.
Mr Sunshine will be back late tonight, he's playing futsal tonight.
I have six days worth of work clothes to iron. Six because I am working this coming weekend. Plus four days of Mr Sunshine's shirts. Ironing shirts is just not my forte.
They appear the same before and after ironing !
I usually iron for the whole working week straight but yesterday's hot weather did not allow me to stand and perspire for an hour.
Last Thursday morning, I was shocked to receive a text message from Lene, telling me that Marc met an accident.
She consoled me by letting me know he was alright, but the car was not.
I knew I had to be home.
When I called Mr Sunshine to let him know, he suggested we drive back and leave my car with Marc to use until the repairs are done. So, I took the afternoon off, drove to Kuala Terengganu to meet Mr Sunshine after he was done with work. We parked his car at the airport and started driving home in my car.
We reached Gombak just after midnight.
On Friday morning, we went to the workshop as I had to sign a few insurance documents, and they needed a copy of my MyKad as the Kelisa is in my name.
Note to self: Add Marc's name in the insurance policy the next time I renew it.
Poor Kelisa. :(
Apparently, the accident happened while Marc was on his way to work, stuck in a jam in Jalan Kuching, when astupid Myvi abruptly cut into Marc's lane without signaling, then the car in front of the stupid Myvi suddenly braked. The stupid Myvi drove into the car in front of it, and yes you guessed it, Marc drove into the stupid Myvi. :(
Thestupid driver of the Myvi was literally shivering after that. I know because Marc recorded her crying and admitting her fault.
Sigh.
Poor Marc.
I am just grateful that he did not get hurt.
Lesson of the week: DRIVE SAFELY PEOPLE !!
We took the first flight back to Terengganu yesterday morning.
We were definitely burned out by the time we got back.
I don't think we have even recovered from traveling to Batu Pahat the previous weekend, and KL the week before that.
I think I need a day off just to sleep. Hehe.
Oh yes, I have not told you people about my weekend in Batu Pahat, Mr Sunshine's hometown.
I had a great time with good company and good food.
We went shopping for a handbag for my mother in-law at Batu Pahat Mall after watching Prince of Persia which was absolutely fun !
It's a pity one of Mr Sunshine's sister, Syahieda couldn't be with us as she is in Perak doing her practical.
We managed to attend Che Wan's wedding while we were there too. Che Wan is Mr Sunshine's friend while he was a Provisionally Registered Pharmacist (PRP) in Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah for three months.
Speaking of weddings, I am very disappointed that I have missed so many of my friends' weddings because I am so far away. :'(
We bought more than a trunk load of kerepek for those who ordered them back in Terengganu !
When I distributed them to the staff here, they told me to buy myself an MPV because they'll be ordering more for Aidilfitri. Yikes.
Mr Sunshine brought me to Tongkang Pechah to see his old house and his primary school.
My mother in-law can cook up a delicious meal for seven in less than an hour ! So cool.
She packed assam pedas for us to have on our way back to Terengganu. :)
And here I am finishing the scrumptious assam pedas at Kuantan's R&R.
Sedap hingga menjilat jari ! :D
Have you guys given Pizza Hut's Fish Prawn King Pizza a try ?
You should ! So yummy ! And take note that this is coming from a chicken fanatic. :D
Ok bye.
xoxo

please let it rain.
I was hoping so badly that it would rain tonight.
But so far, there's no sign of even a slight drizzle.
It's so hot I feel like stripping and walking around naked here. Here meaning in the house lah.
I'm sure Mr Sunshine wouldn't mind (haha), but since the sliding door to the balcony is wide open to let in some cooling air and since that I live on the second floor, anyone who walks by down on the road can see everything that's going on in my house, I would not want to make a spectacle of myself. Or to be exact, of my jiggly private parts.
I am not getting any cooling air from outside !
These past few days have been challenging but I am just to exhausted to blog about all of it. And about my trip to Batu Pahat.
In my next post, maybe.
Goodnight.

sal's dad is in the hospital.
Last night just before I went to bed, I received a call from Sal and she was crying.
Her dad was unconscious at Selayang Hospital's Emergency Department, waiting to be transferred to Sungai Buloh Hospital.
My heart sanked.
We were just talking about her dad's health a few days before she got engaged.
He was referred to the neurosurgery ward, and they found out that he had brain hemorrhage. From what I am told, as at now, the cause of the hemorrhage is still unknown, and he is half conscious. He responds to people talking to him but then he just slips back into unconsciousness.
I wish I was there to be by her side and get to know what's really happening.
According to Sal, things are looking better today.
I pray he gets well, and things don't get worse. Ameen.
I am so worried. :(

And a vegetable dish. :)
Photos from Sal's Engagement.
And lastly, Marc and Linn's 'Outdoor Convocation Photo Shoot'. Hehe.
