I seem to have misplaced my Elomet cream.
This is bad. I have two tubes, and both are missing !
Rashes are getting worse !
Sobs.

birth.
Happy Birthday Rasulullah S.A.W.
Salam Maulidur Rasul 1431H everyone. :)
I have just finished reheating what we had for lunch, for dinner.
We had chicken sambal, fried eggs with soy sauce and fried french beans with anchovies.
Haha, was just not in the mood to cook up a feast.
I'm so lucky Mr Sunshine is not picky when it comes to food.
A couple of days ago, I only made fried fish with soy sauce and brinjal sambal and he was complimenting me non stop. Now I'm starting to wonder whether he was sincere. Hehe.
He, well actually we, were literally licking our plates.
I guess we were both starving.
I did a bit of sweeping and mopping today.
I'm counting that as exercise.
These days the only exercise I'm getting is when I perform the solat.
But I do not think the combination of movements of the five times of prayers will even burn a serving of fries off.
-___-
I weigh myself everyday.
I measure myself everyday.
But I'm just plain lazy to do anything about both measurements.
But saya takut suami saya lari. :(
Hmm, but I guess there are just other more important things in the world to worry about.
Haha poyo nya.
Last Tuesday night, I got to know that Diana had a miscarriage. :'(
She was about 10 weeks into her pregnancy.
The sad news arrived before I could write about her happy pregnancy news when I found out about it on our way back from the induction in Trolak.
She went for her second antenatal check up, and they could not see anything when her tummy was scanned.
What's more sad is, apparently the doctor she went to the first time had written in his notes that there was no heart beat.
I do not get why she was not informed about this. It's just ridiculous !
It's a good thing she decided to choose another doctor the second time around.
I can only imagine what she is going through at the moment.
It sucks that all I can offer is words of encouragement all the way from here.
I know she's strong enough to pull through this. :)
I love you, Stumpy and I'm always here for you. *pelukk*
While we're on the pregnancy topic, I have been receiving numerous comments and queries about me being pregnant every single day.
According to some, I seemingly exhibit signs and symptoms of a pregnant woman.
I refuse to take those remarks as compliments.
FYI, I AM NOT PREGNANT.
YET.
And the comments and questions are kinda stressing me out.
I am naturally fat, pale and tired all the time, OK ?
I know almost the whole world (let me exaggerate as I want, thank you) is getting preggers right now.
But it's just not my turn yet. Both of us definitely want to have kids, but that's not in our hands to decide, isn't it ?
Asking me over and over again is making me feel as if I am an inadequate and imperfect wife/woman.
If and when I do get pregnant, InshaAllah, I will willingly and happily tell the whole world.
So, in the meantime leave me and my uterus alone. Thank you. :)
The rice is ready, time for dinner.
Bye !

fried farts and onions.
I do not know why I have been really easily worn out these past few days.
I have been wanting to blog but I just could not bring myself to purge mind contents out.
I am probably just recovering from the past two hectic weekends that I had.
Ok so I am aware this is wayyy overdue, but Happy Year of the Tiger everyone !
Roaring health and wealth this year for all of us, perhaps ?
The brother was born in the year of the tiger. :)
For us here in Terengganu, we had Friday until Monday on that week, off. But I was on call on Sunday and Monday.
Daddy, Marc and Marlene reached our abode on Saturday evening. They took almost 9 hours to get here.
I cooked up a simple meal for dinner that night, then we took a drive to Kuala Terengganu to show the three of them how the city looks like at night.
The truth is the brother and sister had planned to go to the dentist there, I've called the clinic up earlier in the day to check whether they'd still be open that night since it was Chinese New Year eve already. The lady I spoke to told me they will only be closed on the firsat and second day of Chinese New Year only.
So after a 45 minute drive, we arrived at the clinic only to see it's shutters closed.
There was an A4-sized paper paper stuck to it, and on it was written "Kami tutup bermula malam ini (13/02/2010) sehingga hari Selasa (16/02/2010). Harap maklum."
Whatttttttt !@%*&$*&###%#@!%&(* ?????!!
I was so angry and disappointed. I really wanted Marlene and Marc to get their teeth checked and clean there because it's much cheaper back in KL. :(
Tak ada rezeki lah kan.
We drove by the Pasar Payang area and they were selling durians ! Personally I am not a durian fanatic but the rest of my family (hubby included) are. So we stopped and bought what we were told were D24 durians.
Back home we realized that we were conned.
They were not D24 durians, did not taste that good and some of them were even rotten !
I felt like driving by that place again and throwing them back at the idiot seller.
-_____-
Argh, tak ada rezeki lagi lah kan.
The following day after work, we drove to Kenyir lake ! I remember going there when Mummy was still around when I was little. I was not very little as I remember tasting tapai for the first time while we were there, and swore it would be the first and last time I would consume such afoul-tasting thing. Hehe.
Daddy was eager to get there just for the sake of reminiscing the good old times.
We rented a boat to take us around the lake.
We also had the option to rent one which stops at a waterfall and the herb island they have there but since none of us brought extra clothing or even a towel, we had to go for the first option.
Probably next time.
On the second day of Chinese New Year, we attended a wedding kenduri in Dungun. It was the wedding of an old friend of Daddy's son. We arrived quite late in the afternoon because we had to leave after I got off work and the journey took almost an hour.
After filling up our tummies, hubby bubbly took us to Teluk Bidara beach.
The beach was so clean and beautiful !
It was so good to just sit and enjoy the breeze and scenery.
Ok so of course we did not just sit.
We shamelessly stripped into our boxers !
We unleashed our inner monkey-ity !
We even gave it a go at being Hindustani actors !
Et cetera et cetera et cetera. :))
On the way back to Kuala Berang, we stopped at this placed called Kelulut because hubby bubbly was eager for us to try air nira and have some keropok lekor and coconut water to cool our throats.
No offence to anyone, but air nira smells AND tastes like fart.
I know you might be wondering whether I have tasted fart before. No I have not and I don't think that's even possible.
But if fart had a taste I know it would be air nira.
Hubby bubbly told us that some people mix the air nira with their coconut water. See, because it does not taste good on its own. But after tasting it, there was no way I was pouring it into my yummy coconut water.
Hubby bubbly did not seem to have any complaints about it.
Mungkin orang yang suka kentut suka kot ?
Hahaha, forgive me sayang, gurau je ! Ampunnnn. :)
Nevertheless, the keropok lekor was delicious ! There were people queuing until outside the shop to buy them.
Daddy, Marc and Lene headed back home last Tuesday. :(
Last Thursday after work, hubby bubbly took me to Kuantan to watch Valentine's Day !
We spent a night at a 3-star hotel named LA Hotel.
I made reservations for Vistana, Kuantan but after considering we were only going to spend a few hours in the room to sleep, we figured we should not waste money.
But the room was lousy even for the RM105 we had to fork out.
I should have taken pictures of the fan they put in the room because the air cond was faulty. It was a super small fan, even my head would not have been cooled off by it.
And there was also the faulty bathroom sink faucet which could not be turned off. Water was splashing all over the place. When hubby bubbly called them up to let them know, the lady actually said, "Oh, paip itu memang macam itu, biar lah Encik."
OMG.
The both of us had a good laugh about the whole situation. :p
It was probably just our luck, I do not think all of their rooms are like that. At least I hope not.
We drove back the next day, after breakfast at McDonald's Teluk Chempedak, a stroll on the beach and DVD shopping. :)
As soon as we got back I had to get in front of my laptop to finish work that was due last Sunday.
I still have aches from sitting and staring at Microsoft Excel's sheets, rows and columns for two days straight.
Hubby bubbly was such a darling. He prepared breakfast and a late lunch and helped me with the laundry on that Sunday. :))
Phew, I just realized this is a really long post.
OMG.
I just received sad, sad news.
Will blog about it tomorrow I think.
Goodnight.

meet molin.
Hello my name is Molin. Yes, Mo-lin.
I have been given to my owner by her husband when he got back from Kedah yesterday, because she loves Disney's Finding Nemo so much.
I know you all must be thinking what kind of a name Molin is, right ? My thoughts exactly.
To tell you the truth, my owner is not very good at naming anything (dead or alive).
So she just combined Nemo and Marlin to get Molin. Crap.
-_____-
Hehe.
I love my new fluffy toy ! It's just the right hug size !
He got me something else too.
Bear in mind that I drink a lot.
And, I only drink water from mugs with covers (if possible, lah), I have a Snoopy mug with a hat-like cover back home in Gombak, and I have been drinking from my plastic water tumbler for as long that I have been living here.
Ok, I am a freak, got a problem with that ?
Hee.
So you can imagine how happy I was when I saw what was inside the perfectly wrapped box. :))
The weather has been pretty nasty lately. Hot and humid. Really, really hot and humid.
As expected, my eczema is flaring up and I am scratching like nobody's business.
The back of my knees are really fugly right now.
Today did not go too well for me. Came back from work with an aching head, neck, back and arms.
But on the bright side, Daddy, Marc and Lene are planning to come over here this weekend. InshaAllah. :)
I am really excited !
I'd be working on both days of Chinese New Year, but only until 1 pm so there's still ample time to spend with them. :)
Mr Sunshine and I have been trying to make this place of ours look a bit decent to welcome them.
But we're both lousy cleaners and interior decorators.
Ok, I am a lousy cleaner.
-_____-
The brother has even given me a list of dishes to cook while they're here.
I hope the Kelisa will not give them any problems on the way. Ameen.
My head and body is still aching ! :(
Thank God it's Thursday.

i'm loving today.
Dear Mohd Syafiq,
On this date two years ago, you and I went on our first date.
We were up the whole night before, chatting with each other, I was surprised we even had the energy to go on a date. :p
You took me to watch CJ7 (haha) at Aeon Bukit Tinggi, Klang. We took the bus there, and I remember myself babbling on and on about the history of my so-called sad love life. You listened and nodded occasionally. :)
Our date, was nothing fancy. But it was enough to leave me wanting more (dates, of course).
Two weeks after that, you and I met for our second date at McDonald's Section 3, Shah Alam.
I can still remember how nervous I was.
You might find this funny, but it was when you had sundae all over your lips, that I realized how strong my feelings were for you.
In other words, I was not turned off by how messy you are as a sundae eater. :p
You are not one to sugarcoat your words.
Honestly, initially I did not think that the both of us would ever make it in the long run.
But it was your honesty, sincerity, and your faith in Him that pulled me closer and closer to you.
You're sweet in your own way.
With you, I am comfortable in my own skin. I can let my hair down and go crazy with you.
You always make me laugh with your wicked sense of humour (although sometimes you think you're funny when you're not, but you still make me laugh, hehe).
What I love most about you is you make me feel so special and loved.
However cranky or moody I always tend to be, you're still by my side.
And it was exactly one month ago that you and I became husband and wife. Alhamdulillah. :))
I am loving every second of my life as your wife.
I love you.
If you look back, it's just amazing, as we were in the same class for 8 semesters but we only started to talk to each other during the final semester !
I thank the people who got the both of us to work together on that Meta Analysis Workshop. :)
I thank you for buzzing me for the first time on Yahoo Messenger after that. :)
Allah works in mysterious ways. :)
Syukur, Alhamdulillah.
I pray our marriage stands the test of time.
I pray our love for each other blossoms as we grow old together and have many more messy sundae dates. Hehe.
InshaAllah.
Ameen.
Lots of love and smooches (and tears) from,
Melissa.
P/S: Today is also my mother in-law's birthday ! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAK ! :))

crazy lazy.
Oh what an unproductive day it was today !
I was supposed to clear the house and arrange my stuff while Mr Sunshine is away but here is what I did:
Now I am watching Idol, waiting for the Grammy's to come on. I did not get to watch the live show as I was in Batu Pahat.
How's that for being a lazy a*** ?
Sorry awak, lama rasanya tak merasa weekend macam ini. Hee.
xoxo
I was supposed to clear the house and arrange my stuff while Mr Sunshine is away but here is what I did:
- 9 am - 12 pm - Surfed the web, chatted with the sister (with the telly on).
- 12 pm - 1 pm - Fried tempura coated nuggets for lunch.
- 1 pm - 3 pm - Surfed the web, chatted with the sister (with the telly on).
- 3 pm - 4 pm - Fried two pieces of chicken because I felt hungry.
- 4 pm - 6 pm - Took a long nap.
- 6 pm - 7 pm - Talked on the phone with my mother in-law (♥) and then Daddy (I miss Daddy ! Sobs).
- 7 pm - 8 pm - Had a bath (yes baru mandi) and continued to surfed the web and chat with the sister (♥)

come away with me.
I made half boiled eggs for breakfast today.
It's a gloomy morning as Mr Sunshine is getting ready to leave me for four nights.
He has a course to attend all the way in Alor Setar, Kedah. Sobs. :(
Honestly it's not so much about me being left alone because I am quite used to that, I am just dreadfully worried for his safety to and fro. The driver (the same driver who drove us to our induction course) who will be driving him and his colleagues has the tendency to speed on the road.
I have a presentation next Tuesday but I do not know what to talk about yet. Hmm.
Mr Sunshine just left.
*nangis*

Mr Sunshine just left.
